With a focus on aging research, Symposium on Aging Research (SoAR) is a one-day meeting for engaging with graduate student research beyond disciplinary and professional boundaries, and across areas of expertise. SoAR encourages graduate students from any discipline to present, dialogue, and learn about current research on processes, experiences, and systems related to aging.
Do you have low bone mineral density or osteoporosis? Are you Too Fit To Fracture? Participate in an interactive event with kinesiology students at the University of Waterloo! Sign up for a free two-hour, one-on-one session with a kinesiologist in training, where they will assess your body composition, strength, posture, and balance, and give you tips on how to do some basic strength and balance exercises.
This is a free two-hour assessment, with sessions times offered March 21 and 25. Registration required.
