A Year of COVID: Disparities, Inequities, and Inequalities is the first of a three-part Research Talks series taking place in April, May, and June, hosted by the Office of Research. This free, online event is open to all University of Waterloo faculty, staff, students and the general public.
The first Year of COVID event “Disparities, Inequities, and Inequalities” will highlight the ways in which members of Indigenous and racialized communities have been disproportionately impacted by COVID-19. This event is a collaboration of the President's Anti-Racism Taskforce (PART) and the Office of Research.
The event features two Faculty of Health alumni: keynote speaker Dr. Cornelia Wieman (BSc, MSc Kinesiology) and panelist Kalpita Gaitonde (MPH Public Health), in addition to other UWaterloo alumni and student panelists.
