Two of the KI student-designed exhibits from the 2016 Knowledge Integration eXhibition, KI-X 2016, are on display at THEMUSEUM in Downtown Kitchener.

“Trust Me, I’m a…” and  “Photography” will be on display from March 23- May 23 as a component of the “Aging Dialogues” exhibition.

Friday, April 1, 2016 — 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM EDT

The graduating class of Knowledge Integration students will be presenting poster displays of their senior research projects. Forming the capstone of their four-year undergraduate career, these projects represent an exciting synthesis of the diverse disciplines the students have explored through this one-of-a-kind interdisciplinary program.

Ed Jernigan, founding director of Knowledge Integration and former Chair of Systems Design Engineering, will be retiring in 2016 after 40 years of dedication and inspiration to the University of Waterloo.

The field trip kicks off the Museum Course, where Knowledge Integration students practise interdisciplinary collaboration by designing original, working museum exhibits. They start by studying museums in a museum-rich city, and they finish with an exhibition of their own work in March of their third year.
