Knowledge Integration Seminar

Design Your Education, Design Your Future

In KI, we ask you to “design your education”.

In this session, we will give you the opportunity to think through and discuss the elements of your KI degree and how to articulate your knowledge and skills when entering graduate school and/or the workplace.

Each cohort of students will consider key questions about their degrees relative to their educational stage:

  • Why did you come to KI?
  • What minors or specialization(s) do you want to pursue?
  • What might you work on for your senior project?
  • How do the skills that you have developed connect to plans for grad school or potential career paths?

All this will be explored through a new (and free!) ePortfolio system called “PebblePad,” which we will introduce you to.

Please bring a laptop (or a tablet) with you to the seminar!

The session will be facilitated by KI professors Katie Plaisance and Vanessa Schweizer, and KI Senior Design Instructor Paul McKone.
