Knowledge Integration Seminar

Summer off? No — summer on!

A panel of Knowledge Integration students will reflect on their summer experiences, and how they applied their KI learning.

  • Piper was at McAfee Software in Waterloo as a user research intern analyzing surveys, organizing and facilitating a design thinking workshop, and running and analyzing her own research survey.
  • Luna started as an iOS developer and transitioned to become the marketing manager at Marlena Books in Kitchener, a startup that aspires to encourage individuals living with Alzheimers and dementia to continue reading.
  • Emily worked with a professor's research lab at the University of Waterloo School of Pharmacy doing user experience and user interface design for a web app that graphs medication effectiveness and adverse events.

In addition, Paul McKone will talk about the KI Works program, and David Thiessen from the Centre for Career Action will give a brief overview of their services and resources.
