KI professor and students receive grant for student conference in interdisciplinary collaboration

Professor Katie Plaisance, and KI students Georgia Lamarre, Akanksha Madan, and Shane Morganstein have been awarded a Learning Innovation and Teaching Enhancement (LITE) grant for "Breaking Down Barriers: A Student-Led Conference in Interdisciplinary Collaboration".

The LITE Grants are intended to provide support for experimenting with and investigating innovative approaches to enhancing teaching that aim to foster deep student learning at the university.

KI student runs for school board trustee

Andrew Clubine, second-year Knowledge Integration student, is a candidate for Waterloo Region District School Board Trustee for Waterloo-Wilmot.

He builds on his experience in high school as a student trustee, current involvement in university student politics, and many other community initiatives.

We're proud of Andrew for stepping up to the challenge!
