New KI Science, Technology & Society Specialization

The new Science, Technology & Society (STS) specialization is designed to cover a broad range of issues, including the nature and organization of knowledge and expertise, science policy, and public understanding of science.

KI students to host Combining Two Cultures conference in 2018

The Knowledge Integration students will host the January 26-28, 2018 Combining Two Cultures Conference, a student-led conference celebrating undergraduate interdisciplinary education.

The theme for C2C 2018 is Knowledge Sharing.

They previously hosted the conference in 2012, 2013, and 2016. The first host campus was McMaster, other host campuses have been Guelph andĀ  McGill.

Making sense of climate action: KI professor's new research

Dr. John McLevey (co-investigator) has been awarded a new Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC) Insight Development Grant for the project "Making sense of climate action: Understanding social mobilization to curb anthropogenic climate change through advances in social network analysis" in the amount of $282,672.
