Monday, May 28, 2012

Eric Kennedy, in our first BKI graduating class, is being honoured with the Faculty of Environment Alumni Gold Medal Award when he convocates on June 13.

The award is given to the top student graduating in the Faculty of Environment, based on academic achievement, contributions to the academic program, and other contributions.

He has an exceptionally strong record of academic achievement and scholarship, including presenting at international conferences and working towards publication in a professional journal. Eric’s area of specialization has to do with the role of various forms of expertise in decision-making and communications on, for example, environmental public policy issues. In addition to his academic work, he has been actively involved as a volunteer and mentor.

Congratulations Eric! We wish you all the best in your graduate work with the Consortium for Science, Policy, and Outcomes at Arizona State University.
