Nandita Basu receives AGU's Sulzman Award for Excellence in Education and Mentoring Award

LEAP researcher, Nandita Basu, was awarded the Sulzman Award for Excellence in Education and Mentoring, presented by the American Geophysical Union – Biogeosciences section.

The Sulzman Award for Excellence in Education and Mentoring is presented annually to a mid-career female scientist in recognition of significant contributions as a role model and mentor for the next generation of biogeoscientsts. Nandita is recognized for her creative research skills, as well as excellence in science education and mentoring.

Legacy Effects Session Coming to AGU 2020

LEAP researchers Kim Van Meter and Nandita Basu are co-organizing a session at the American Geophysical Union 2020 Fall meeting focusing on impacts of legacies on our environment. The session, titled ‘Legacy Effects of Land Use on Water Quality, Watershed Processes, and Ecosystem Function’, is open for abstract submissions until July 29th.
