New report considers time lags and uncertainty in water quality valuation

LEAP researchers from the University of Copenhagen have released a new working paper titled ‘Assessing the value of surface water and groundwater quality improvements when time lags and outcome uncertainty exist: Results from a choice experiment survey across four different countries’. The report is authored by Tobias Holmsgaard Larsen, Thomas Lundhede, and Søren Bøye Olsen.

Philippe participates in the Water JPI Workshop on International Cooperation

The Water Joint Programming Initiative, Water JPI for short, was launched in 2011. As of June 2019, the Water JPI membership included 23 member countries and three observer countries. Water JPI aims to tackle the challenge of achieving “sustainable water systems for a sustainable economy in Europe and abroad”.

Third annual LEAP meeting held in Copenhagen

The third annual LEAP researcher meeting was hosted by University of Copenhgan researchers, in Copenhagen, Denmark. The meeting was held from June 19^th-21^st and featured presentations from participating researchers from the University of Copenhagen, Stockholm University, the University of Coimbra, and the University of Waterloo.

Tamara on exchange in Stockholm

Tamara and Stockholm researchers in meeting

University of Waterloo M.Sc. student, Tamara Van Staden, is visiting Stockholm University (SU) for one month to work with SU researchers, Jerker Jarsjö and Benoît Dessirier. Tamara's academic exchange is part of the researcher mobility plan of the LEAP project.
