A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away ... the University of Waterloo Library celebrated May the fourth be with you with a meme contest! This is not a Jedi mind trick. We want to see what Star Wars memes you can come with by designing your own meme!
Use one of the Creative Commons images below and use the force to create a meme, then share your (g-rated) meme with us and win! All the images chosen for this activity are from Creative Commons. Learn more about Creative Commons and how you can use it in your studies!
Email us your meme by Thursday, May 7 at midnight for a chance to win. Then we are turning it over to you, UWaterloo, to vote on your favourite on the UW Library Instagram account (@uwlibrary). The meme with the most votes will win a $25 gift card to Amazon.
Rules and regulations:
- Multiple entries are allowed. Entries can be submitted from May 4 to May 7, 2020
- Open to all University of Waterloo students, faculty, staff, and alumni
- Odds of winning depend on the number of entries received
- Voting will take place on May 8th. All votes will be accepted between 12 p.m. and 11:59 p.m.
- Winners will be contacted via email the week of May 11 to 15, 2020
