Last week marked the Spring 2020 convocation week at the University of Waterloo. in the absence of an in-person convocation, the Department of Management Science and Engineering held a virtual convocation reception for its 2020 graduates.
The event was hosted by Prof. Qi-Ming He, department Chair and included remarks from two of the graduates - Victoria Li (BASc, Management Engineering) and Yaser Abolghasemi Dehaghani (PhD, Management Sciences), recognition for capstone and academic awards for the graduating Management Engineering class, a pre-recorded video of salutations from Management Sciences faculty and staff, and remarks from Prof. Mark Smucker, Associate Chair Undergraduate Studies, and Prof. Rob Duimering, Associate Chair Graduate Studies.
