Management Sciences professor Lukasz Golab was recently featured in an article by University Affairs. The article provided an overview of data science research programs accros Canadian universities. According to Prof. Golab, a Canada Reserach Chair in Data Analytics for Sustainability, data science can be used to not only reduce the use of water and energy and adopt more green technologies, but to also improve gender equity and public heath.
