PhD Student

My masters research involved structural biochemistry of proteins related to neurodegenerative diseases. With deepening interest to explore the complexity of neurodegeneration and factors affecting neuronal health, I joined the NeurdyPhagy lab as a PhD student. I am interested in developing tools to understand the role and regulation of palmitoylation in autophagy using various lower model organisms like Drosophila melanogaster. In my own time, I enjoy biking, watching movies and sports.
