Congratulations to the Master of Public Service class of 2018 on their successful journey and completion of the program! On Wednesday June 13th, 2018, our newest alumni who are now part of a network of over 200 MPS alumni, celebrated all their accomplishments that started back in the fall of 2016.
Since then, the alumni have completed 8 months of intensive studies in policy, followed by 8 months of co-op employment, which led to permanent positions in the government for many of the graduates. The group showcased their expertise in the culminating milestone Major Team Projects in spring, where they tackled difficult policy questions and presented innovative recommendations to our expert panel of supervisors.
This year's graduates are remarkable and the dedication and skills they bring to the public service really make them a shining example of the fundamental principles the Master of Public Service program promotes which include; (1) respect and tolerance for diversity, (2) integrity, (3) honest stewardship of public resources, (4) striving for excellence, (5) respect for democratic traditions.
We are so proud of our newest alumni and can't wait to witness and share in their future achievements in the Canadian public service and beyond!
