new www.math server

A new server is now handling www.math. This has been tested intermittently for some time. The new server supports up-to-date security protocols that recent browser versions are either warning about or requiring. If you have PHP code in your public_html web pages you need to rewrite them to use PHP 7 instead of the deprecated PHP 5. If you have architecture-specific compiled code in your public_html web pages you need to rebuild it for Linux instead of Solaris.

Windows 10 Release 1909 upgrade availability announcement

What is happening? As part of the continuous upgrade process for Windows 10, MFCF will be advertising a managed upgrade via System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) for Windows 10 workstations that are joined to Nexus.  The advertisement will allow you to select when the upgrade applies.

The upgrade will be for on campus systems only at first.  A plan to upgrade off campus systems will be developed based on the results of upgrading on campus systems and announced when it is ready to proceed.
