Hans De Sterck designated Fellow of the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematicians
De Sterck, who is a professor and chair of Applied Mathematics at the University of Waterloo, was recognized “for contributions to scientific computing methods including multilevel and nonlinear solvers, and for exemplary scientific leadership and service to SIAM.”
