Waterloo fans at previous Black and Gold Day

Join us to celebrate Alumni Black and Gold Day at Home!  Whether you watch the concert, take part in the virtual fun run or enjoy the day of math-specific activities, we hope you have a great time. Be sure to register today!

While we can’t reconnect in the way we originally planned, we have a full online program, including:

  • A dean’s lecture with the newly appointed Dean of Mathematics, Mark Giesbrecht, who will be sharing his vision for the future (8:30 am – 9:15 am)
  • An intriguing panel featuring Faculty researchers who are truly harnessing the power of math to revolutionize healthcare (10:00 am – 11:00 am)
  • An inspirational discussion on how one alumni founded start-up, Snap Travel, went from burning millions to profitability and back to growth in 60 days (11:30 am – 12:15 pm)
  • A family friendly math activity for parents and kids in grades 4-8, hosted by Math Alumni and the CEMC! (3:00 – 4:00 pm)
