Data-Driven Investments with Industry Practice
All third year and above undergraduate and masters students in a finance-related program are invited to participate in this two-part seminar. The seminars are being offered from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 14 and 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, September 21.

Mathematicians and computer scientists of today build on the knowledge and discoveries made by those who have come before them. Two such giants in the field were Professor William Tutte and J. Wesley Graham.

Join us and fellow Math alumni for a cold drink and appetizers at the University of Calgary. Professor Stefan Steiner, Chair of Statistics & Actuarial Science, will share exciting updates from the Faculty and Waterloo.
This workshop provides a crash course on using statistical methods and software when conducting data analysis in survey research. There will be a hands-on opportunity to conduct basic data analysis using SAS software. This workshop is presented by Dr. Christian Boudreau, Co-director of the SRC, along with Grace Li from the International Tobacco Control (ITC) Project.

This year, the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, and Conestoga College are co-hosting the Senior Women’s Academic Administrators of Canada Conference (SWAAC) at UW April 25th – 27th, 2019.

In conjunction with the University of Waterloo Mathematics and Engineering Advancement offices, WISH will be hosting a Tech Talk Happy Hour in San Francisco, on the evening of April 24, 2019 from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. PST.

The Capstone Design Symposium is the culmination of the undergraduate student experience, creating a blueprint for innovation in software engineering design. A variety of topics will be showcased from gaming and food applications, to automotive safety features and breast cancer research.
