What is ethical data governance and how can organizations use it to understand the composition of their employee bases? How are they using it strategically to change the face of their institutions? In this event, we'll explore how data can be used to strategically change the face of an institution and the benefits this could bring to society as a whole.

The Centre for Bioengineering and Biotechnology (CBB) is proud to announce that registration for the annual CBB Conference is now open. The forthcoming conference: Waterloo for Health, Technology and Society, will explore the use of technology for safe and accessible health care by examining the status of virtual delivery of care, enabling emerging technologies, and ensuring ethical and safe interventions for the betterment of our society and improved public health outcomes.   

Pi Day is March 14! As irrational as it may be MathSoc welcomes you to celebrate the occasion with some free pie! As per tradition all math students, faculty, and staff are invited. Pie will be handed out on the third floor of MC by the Math Coffee & Donut Shop.

The Math Innovation Office is proud to host the Entrepreneurship and Impact Series which aims to bring experienced, successful entrepreneurs to UWaterloo to share their stories and inspire students.

This series will feature an impressive lineup of speakers who have used their backgrounds in mathematics and computer science to create startups, build innovative products, and forge their own paths to success.

Learn about opportunities for engagement and collaboration at T-CAIREM, a national network that engages 23 universities and 90 organizations across Canada in advancing AI in medicine.

This event is open to all University of Waterloo students, faculty, staff, external partners and community members, and will feature a presentation by Dr. Muhammad Mamdani, PharmD, MA, MPH.
