Queer Film Series: Circumstance (2011)

Wednesday, March 25, 2026 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm EDT (GMT -04:00)

Please join us for an afternoon of film and conversation exploring 2SLGBTQIA+ themes. This month we will be screening Circumstance. Circumstance is a French-Iranian-American film that follows a rich Iranian family where the parents are struggling with their kids' modern lives and struggles.

The screening will be held on campus with an email of the exact room number to be sent to registrants by 12:00 PM the day of the screening. All are welcome.

About the Queer Film Series

The Queer Film Series (QFS) brings together 2SLGBTQIA+ faculty, staff, students, and allies to explore diverse queer experiences through film. Each monthly screening includes a brief introductory lecture and an open discussion, creating a welcoming space to challenge stereotypes, share perspectives, and celebrate queer culture. Past participants value the opportunity to connect, learn, and reflect on stories that highlight the richness of gender and sexuality.

QFS is proudly coordinated by the Mathematics Equity Office in partnership with Pride Factors and with support from EngiQueers.
