Three subjects at the University of Waterloo rank in the top 50 in the world and eight other subjects rank among the top 100, according to the U.K. firm Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject.
Subject ranking highlights for the Faculty of Mathematics:
The University of Waterloo team did extremely well in the 2014 Putnam Competition, finishing in 4th place.
