Faculty of Mathematics researchers partnering on NRC projects

Researchers linked with the Faculty of Mathematics are partnering on projects supported through the National Research Council (NRC).

NRC-sponsored projects underway at Waterloo are making breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, the internet of things and cybersecurity. The NRC and University of Waterloo collaboration will help position Canada as a global leader in these future-relevant areas.

The founder of cryptocurrency Etherium and former computer science student Vitalik Buterin has been named in the recent Forbes '30 under 30 hall of fame.'

On this tenth anniversary of the Forbes 30 under 30 lists, the publication included a best of the best from the past ten years, noting those who had been named the most times or consistently in the lists.
