Developed

the
Waterloo
Math
digital
community
will
be
launched
on
second
annual
International
Women
in
Math
Day,
May
12,
2020.
This
innovative
digital
space,
fuelled
by
Profound
Impact,
aims
to
connect
#Mathies
and
demonstrate
the
incredible
breadth
and
depth
of
expertise
of
the
Faculty
of
Mathematics
across
the
globe.
This
is
a
community
where
alumni
and
faculty
can
document
their
individual
journeys
and
“impact
stories”,
contributing
to
the
overall
dynamic
view
of
the
impact
on
the
world
of
all
the
people
who
have
and
are
and
will
pass
through
the
Faculty
of
Mathematics.
We
encourage
you
to
complete
your
Profound
Impact
profile
so
that
you
may
learn
more
about
your
Waterloo
connections
and
share
your
journey
from
leaving
the
Faculty
with
your
degree,
to
showing
the
impact
you
have
had
in
industry
as
well
as
the
academic
world.
You
are
an
important
part
of
the
story
and
we
hope
you
will
find
value
in
using
this
tool
to
connect
with
fellow
alumni
and
faculty
as
we
learn
more
about
the
continuing
profound
impact
each
of
you
has
with
each
other
and
with
the
world.
Join the Waterloo Digital Math Community! This online community made up of UWaterloo Math graduates provides the opportunity to:
- Trace your academic ancestry. How far are you removed from one of the founding members of the Faculty of Mathematics, such as codebreaker William Tutte?
- Document your impact and see the collective impact of our talented alumni around the world.
- Link to alumni that live in the same city or have a position in the industry you want to work in and continue building your network.
