MMEGA Annual General Meeting

Dear fellow graduate student,

Despite unprecedented challenges, 2020 was a very productive year for the Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering Graduate Association (MMEGA); cooperating with the Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering (MME) department and our Wellness coordinator, we came up with novel ways to enhance communication within the department and resume to deliver our shared mission of providing support for graduate students.

As a member of the MMEGA, you are invited to the virtual Annual General Meeting (AGM), where you will be presented with a brief annual report. You also will be selecting the executive members for the following year; every graduate student at the MME program can apply for the positions. A list of positions and their job description can be found here:

https://uwaterloo.ca/mechanical-and-mechatronics-engineering-graduate-association/member-duties

Suppose you are interested in spending few hours each month practicing your management and teamwork skills, helping to improve the MME community. In that case, you can send an email containing your full name, picture, position of interest, and a brief description covering your experiences to mmega@uwaterloo.ca.

The below information outlines the MMEGA’s AGM details:

Meeting Type: Annual General Meeting 2020

Date: July 28, 2021

Time: 1:00 PM EST

Location: Meeting live via WebEx

Link:   HAS BEEN EMAILED TO YOUR @UWATERLOO EMAIL ADDRESS.

At MMEGA, everyone’s voice counts; hence, we will allocate part of the meeting to hear from you.

Looking forward to seeing you all.

Let's make the Grad Lounge a better place!!!

To all Grad MME students,
MMEGA has received GSEF funding ($1000) to be spent for the grad lounge.
This is a survey to collect suggestions regarding how we can spend the funding received.

Some options have already been listed!
Feel free to comment the poll by listing the items you think might be useful OR you can email directly the co-president Michael Benoit at mjlbenoi@uwaterloo.ca

Remember that we have only $1000...:)
