All Mechatronics Engineering students at the University of Waterloo will participate in the co-operative work/study program. Co-op education combines formal classroom teaching with on-the-job experience. The Mechatronics Engineering program is still fairly new, however, our students are achieving between 95% and 100% co-op employment rates.

The Co-operative Education department on campus provides students with professional career guidance, contacts potential employers and arranges on-campus job interviews for co-op students.
