The first Ninja Delivery store was set up on Sunview Street in Waterloo. Founded by Wesley Yue, a mechatronics engineering alumni, and fellow co-founders Michael Markevich and Gonzalo Graham.
Seven University of Waterloo researchers were awarded funding through the Government of Canada’s New Frontiers in Research Fund.
The funding was part of a national announcement of $45-million by the Honourable François-Philippe Champagne, Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry and the Honourable Jean-Yves Duclos, Minister of Health.
