Arash Hashemi and Ali Nasr receive Best Paper Awards

PhD candidate Ali Nasr and MASc student Arash Hashemi both received Best Paper Awards at the 2020 International Conference of Control, Dynamic Systems, and Robotics (CDSR20). Arash’s paper focused on “Trajectory Planning for a Human-Robot Interaction Rehabilitation System using Direct-Collocation Optimization” and Ali’s paper focused on “Activation Torque Estimation of Muscles by Forward Neural Networks (Forward-MuscleNET) for sEMG-Based Control of Assistive Robots”. Congratulations!
