December 1 deadline for the spring convocation ceremony if degree requirements are completed during the fall term.
March 1 deadline for the spring convocation ceremony.

Please read the Convocation checklist.

If you are not sure if you have met all of the requirements for your MUSIC plan, make an appointment with Academic Advisor, Prof. Maisie Sum. If you have any questions about the above information, please don’t hesitate to contact our office!

Conrad Grebel Graduation Celebration

In addition to the UWaterloo Intent to Graduate form, the MUSIC department and Conrad Grebel ask that you submit your graduation information to us as well.

Please take a moment to fill out this form:

  • Tell us what your likely future plans are.
  • Leave your contact information so we can stay in touch!
  • Show you intent to attend Conrad Grebel’s special convocation service - only once a year in April.

As a MUSIC or CMW student you have spent a great deal of time at Grebel and we consider you part of our student community. We would be delighted if you could come and celebrate your accomplishment with us! If you plan to finish your degree either Winter, Spring or Fall 2016 (any time this calendar year) you are invited to participate on April 17 at 2:00pm, in the Humanities Theatre in Hagey Hall, followed by a reception in the Dining Hall at Grebel.

Although you will receive your official degree at the University of Waterloo convocation in June or October, Grebel holds a special celebration to honour students who have been a part of the Grebel community. You are welcome to invite your family members and any other significant person in your life to attend.

See this special invitation from our President, Susan Schultz Huxman and a few clips from last years ceremony.
