Amy Waller Prince, a well-known local soprano, will be performing works from Verdi, Strauss, Dvorak, and Greer. Ms. Prince recently received a Doctorate of Music from Indiana University. She has performed many operatic roles, including Rosalind in Die Fledermaus, and Mabel in the Pirates of Penzance.

Jennifer Brimson Cooper and Mas Sugihara are an imaginative and intense duo that perform both original compositions for the sax and flute, as well as transcriptions of classical pieces. The JUNO nominated Orchid Ensemble is Lan Tung on the erhu/Chinese violin, Xiao Mei Zhu on the zheng/Chinese zither, and Jonathan Bernard on percussion. The ensemble blends ancient musical instruments and traditions from China and beyond, creating a beautiful new sound.

This concert will explore chamber music repertoire by two Canadian composers: Seven Tableaux from the Song of Songs by Srul Irving Glick, and Selections from Trio, composed by Grebel alumna Erica de la Cruz, setting poetry by University of Waterloo Professor Sarah Tolmie.
