Whether singing and intimate ballad, performing an intricate fugue, creating stirring world beats, or wailing on a powerful rock anthem, award-winning singer/multi-instrumentalist Kevin Ramessar has a history of moving audiences.  A two-time winner of first place for guitar at the Canadian Music Competitions, Kevin has delighted listeners and critics with music that is "passionate," "beautifully contemplative," and "entirely satisfying" (Wholenote Magazine; The Record). With his honest vulnerability and skillful musicianship, he draws listeners into an emotional journey through heartfelt stories and captivating songs.

Kevin has been a featured soloist with numerous Canadian orchestras, and has taken his music to major concert halls and festival stages throughout Canada, and into Europe and the America. His solo and band performances have earned him accolades from the likes of Pat Metheny and Ron Sexsmith, and have let to collaborations with Jim Cuddy, Christian McBride, and Kellylee Evans.

Kevin was awarded the Kitchener-Waterloo Arts Award in Music in 2008. Drawing on his classical education and love of jazz and world music, Kevin has created an infectious brand of music that evokes praise from critics and audiences alike.

Kevin and his family currently live in Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, where he is in high demand as a performer, recording artist, clinician and teacher. He is currently on staff at Conrad Grebel University College and directs the instrumental music program at Woodland Christian High School.
