Biography

Dr. Mehmet Canturk is currently a postdoctoral research fellow at Institute for Quantum Computing, University of Waterloo.

 He is a faculty member at the Department of Computer Engineering, Turgut Ozal University, Turkey.

After his B.S. degree (1995) at Middle East Technical University (METU), Turkey, he received an M.S. degree in physics (1997). In 2004 he got another  M.S. degree in Informatics Institute  and a Ph.D. degree in physics at the same university.

His research interests is in the field of nanoelectronics-based quantum information processing. He is currently working on qubit readout and quantum measurement of a qubit system coupled to nanomechanical resonator.
