The Department of Chemical Engineering (ChE) and the Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology (WIN) are partnering to organize a series of discourses on technology-based solutions to global challenges linked to UN Sustainable Development Goals. We are pleased to present another discourse in our series: Circular Economies: Electronic and Electrochemical Devices. The distinguished panel for this event comprises Komal Habib (SEED), Steven Young(SEED), Ting Tsui (ChE), Michael Fowler (ChE), and Asmae Mokrini from the National Research Council (NRC).

Zhongwei Chen, Canada Research Chair in Advanced Materials for Clean Energy and Chemical Engineering Professor and Linda Nazar, Canada Research Chair in Solid State Energy Materials and Chemistry Professor, received more than $2 million in infrastructure funding from the federal government’s Canada Foundation for Innovation for the proposed Ontario Centre for Battery and Electrochemical Research.
