Come out to cheer on our Nanotechnology Engineering students as they compete at the Velocity Fund Finals on Thursday, July 23, 2015. Where a panel of judges from the local investor community will choose the top pitches from these startups.
There are 10 finalists for the Spring 2015 Velocity Fund $5K competition. Nanotechnology Engineering students are represented with: Thalo - Thalo is building a new display technology to increase the battery life and daylight visibility of mobile devices.
Another 10 teams will pitch for one of four $25,000 prizes available. Nanotechnology Engineering students are represented with: Black Box Technology – Using nanotechnology, Black Box Technology is creating an optical fingerprint for authentication and the prevention of counterfeiting.
