Call for Poster Presentations for NAR Symposium

The Network for Aging Research (NAR) at the University of Waterloo is hosting the inaugural NAR Symposium on October 27, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. – providing a unique forum for students to network with faculty and present their aging-related research projects.

Undergraduate and graduate students are asked to submit a poster presentation abstract (up to 200 words) by the submission deadline: Monday, October 5 at 5:00 p.m.

NAR seed grant recipients announced

We are pleased to announce that eight faculty members were awarded seed grants of $10,000 each for their aging-focused research projects.

At the University of Waterloo our research positively impacts our society and the lives of those in our community. At the Murray Alzheimer Research and Education Program (MAREP), in the Faculty of Applied Health Sciences, research and educational activities are integrated in an effort to improve dementia care practices in Canada.
