DESCRIPTION:In this two-day workshop\, you will learn a variety of tools fo
 r\nanalyzing data on social and information networks using the\nprogrammin
 g language R. The first day will be an introduction to R and\nRStudio\, fo
 llowed by a series of classic topics in network analysis\,\nsuch as centra
 lity analysis and community detection. The second day\nwill cover visuali
 zation\, handling extremely dense networks\, and\ndeveloping statistical 
 models for network data. \n\nThe workshop sessions will combine short lec
 tures and demonstrations\nwith hands-on time analyzing your own (or our) n
 etwork data.
