Transfer credits

As a transfer student, you must accept all of the transfer credits that have been determined by your previous study at another university or college. You will be notified of your transfer credits by the Admissions office over the summer.

Co-op information for transfer students

If you have been admitted into a co-op program, you need to have a Sequence (SEQ) course on your schedule for the fall term. Please discuss your sequence options with the Math Undergraduate Office when contacting us about your course selection. Please note that we would need to see your complete transfer credit assessment before we can advise about your sequence.

Guidelines for selecting you SEQ course

If you have received less than 2.0 units of transfer credits, select any of sequences 1, 2, 3, or 4, except students in Computing and Financial Management (which are automatically enrolled in SEQ 1). Students in Business Administration and Mathematics Double Degree (BBA/BMath) and Business Administration and Computer Science Double Degree (BBA/BCS) are automatically enrolled into SEQ 5DD.

If you have received between 2.0 and 4.0 units of transfer credits, you are only eligible for 5 work terms. You should select sequence 1 and we will adjust your sequence by removing Work Term 6.

If you have received between 4.5 and 6.0 units of transfer credits you will enter the second year of sequence 2.

If you have received more than 6.0 units of transfer credits you should consult the Math Undergraduate Office regarding your co-op sequence.
