Waterloo has facilities to provide broadcast-quality audio and video feeds with a double-ender studio. Please contact us for details on how to book.

Parking (for media)

Parking passes are available for members of the media who come to the Waterloo campus for events or to interview faculty or staff. While we cannot reserve spaces, the passes allow members of the media to park a vehicle for free in several designated spots across campus.

  2. Oct. 27, 2016Velocity Garage officially opens its renovated 37,000-square-foot space

    The University of Waterloo’s leading entrepreneurial program, Velocity, is officially opening the expanded Velocity Garage, the largest free startup incubator in the world.

    Occupying space in the Lang Tannery building, Velocity has grown by more than 29,000 square feet to provide space for up to 120 startups to work and collaborate, and to benefit from co-location with Communitech’s network of industry partners and supports.
