Media are invited to attend a showcase of some of the top startups emerging from the University of Waterloo’s entrepreneurship programs.

The event will feature a unique pitch competition for startups from Waterloo’s programs including VelocityGreenHouseConrad CentreAccelerator Centre, and Waterloo Engineering’s Capstone projects.

In addition to startup executives, representatives from the University of Waterloo’s entrepreneurial ecosystem, including Feridun Hamdullahpur, president and vice-chancellor, will be available for interview.

Startups will compete for a $5000 prize provided by TD Insurance Meloche Monnex. The winner will be chosen by popular vote amongst attendees who are Waterloo alumni based in Toronto.

Startups competing for the one-off prize are among Waterloo’s most promising new companies: DraftingSpaceEye CheckGroboLaniMAJikMedella HealthPalettePoutSuncayr, and Voltera.
