WRITING WITH VISION: A toolkit for your manuscript is an intensive full day writing workshop to help build and support your scientific manuscript writing skills. The workshop will run Monday December 17, from 8:30am- 4:30pm, in WLRC.
The day will be split into four sections:
1. Principles of Scientific Writing [Conciseness & Clarity]
2. Framing your Research Story [Manuscript Structure]
3. Measures to Evaluate your Research Story
4. Reporting your Research Story
We've set aside dedicated time to apply the concepts and models to your personal writing.
Since there is limited space and this is an all day event, please take into considerations some of the following:
*Be prepared to write
*Be prepared to participate in each of the smaller skill building workshops
*If you have lab responsibilities, be prepared to have them covered
*Gather any necessary documents to help you write productively [i.e. manuscript draft, data, previous drafts with comments, research notes, etc.]
There will be a light lunch and refreshments provided for the day. Please register your attendance by no later than December 10, 2018 on our registration page.
