Organizational and Human Development offers a series of workshops focused on adapting facilitation within a virtual environment. The Facilitation Fundamentals: Community Engagement and Collaboration will focus on how we can design and lead virtual gatherings that focus on bringing people together in times of change. Our world of work is changing, and how we build community and collaborate across silos has become even more important.
Our modern day working life is in a state of crisis. As the global economy continues to shift towards knowledge work, the days of standardized tasks are long gone, replaced by the mounting pressure to come up with endless ideas to stay ahead of the competition. Companies are facing immediate challenges in recruiting and retaining highly skilled creatives, an essential part of thriving in today’s hyper competitive business landscape.
Organizational and Human Development (OHD) and many of your campus partners will be working diligently to craft and curate a new and interesting experience for the annual Waterloo Staff Conference in 2021. The virtual event will take place over several days and will include keynote presentations, workshops, and activities you can attend from the comfort of your own home or your office.
More to come!
