Part of the Inclusivity Certificate Series

Applying the Principles of Inclusivity, the workshop explores different styles of communication and social interaction that may lead to challenges and opportunities in a multicultural work environment.  Through interactive exercises, discover how everyone prefers to communicate in different ways, and how you can become more mindful of those differences.

Workshop Goal:

To recognize and appreciate the communication process, and to establish an environment of trust through an understanding of different cultural attributes and communication styles.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify and understand your communication preferences and the different communication styles of others.
  • Discover the use of cultural knowledge to give meaning to experiences.
  • Practice responding to different communication styles in a culturally-mindful manner.

Note: The Principles of Inclusivity workshop is a prerequisite.
