As we start returning to campus this Fall, many of us are going to be leading some form of Hybrid, Blended, or Hy-flex Teams where some employees may work remotely (some of the time) while others may work in one co-located workplace. Balancing individual expectations while effectively building team synergy in hybrid teams is challenging. The important thing is to recognize, acknowledge, and address these challenges from the beginning. In this self-directed workshop series, you will learn quick tips, techniques, and inclusive practices for leading and working in hybrid teams. Open to all Employees
NOTE: For this learning experience, we are asking participants, if interested, to sign up on Portal. Once you have registered you will be given access to the Learn course. With that, you will also receive an email with instructions on how to access the course and navigate its contents.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
