Next week kicks off the 2021 Waterloo Staff Conference (WSC), happening virtually on April 6-9. The event will feature great keynote presentations and fantastic workshops and activities you can attend from the comfort of your own home or your office. Registration is currently open for all events and activities and will remain opening during the conference. This annual event (apart from 2020!) has been signature part of learning and development activities for Waterloo employees since 2008. We are very excited to be able to bring this event to you virtually for this year.
Good to know:
Learn more about this virtual event:
Spring came a little bit early to our region and so has Organizational and Human Development’s (OHD) Spring offerings! We’ve taken your feedback, thoughts, and suggestions from our original virtual offerings to hone these workshops to best suit your current needs.
Some course highlights include: our revamped Core Development series, Strengthening Your Emotional Intelligence, as well as popular favourites, such as Personality Dimensions, Facilitation Fundamentals, Integrity Matters, and more. Explore dates and offerings on our Calendar of Workshops
Currently all workshops and events will be online and hosted in Microsoft Teams. An invite will be sent to you by the workshops facilitator(s). If you have questions, or have not received your invite prior to the course, please contact ohd@uwaterloo.ca.
NOTE: If a course offering on Workday fills up (as does the waitlist), the system removes the workshop from being visible on Workday so that should someone unenroll, that spot is automatically filled from the Waitlist. Once spots are available again on the waitlist, the course will be visible again in Workday.
We are here to help! Questions about workshops or registration? Please contact OHD about workshop registration, including cancellations and enrollment.
Questions about this communication? Please contact Mark Lisetto-Smith, Manager, Operations and Marketing, Organizational and Human Development.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
