Accessibility Training updated: December 2019

The new, updated Accessibility course will be published on December 3, 2019 to coincide with the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The new training will include updated regulations within the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA). It takes a Waterloo-centric approach, drawing on examples specific to our University, and places strong focus on internal resources available to support all members of our community in becoming compliant with the AODA.

To achieve compliance and ensure our campus upholds its responsibility to equity and inclusion, all University employees will be required to take the new training, regardless of when they last completed accessibility training.

You can find more information on the Accessibility at Waterloo web page. If you have any questions about the training or accessibility at Waterloo, please contact Joyce Barlow, Workplace Accessibility Specialist.
