UPCOMING WORKSHOPS: LET’S TALK CHANGE MANAGEMENT
The Change Management and Continuous Improvement Office in Human Resources is offering a suite of workshops in July. Whether you are feeling the impact of change, are anticipating a major change, or are leading a change process – large or small – learn the strategies supported by the University to create a successful path forward.
PLEASE NOTE: Many of the listed workshops are now full, however, a waitlist option is available and will be prioritized as space opens.
Explore dates and workshop offerings in our Calendar of Workshops.
OHD is piloting in-person experiences once again starting this spring. We are excited to see you in person!
If you are feeling unwell or have been exposed to someone with symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend in person. Instead, please email us at email@example.com to let us know you cannot attend.
Virtual workshops and events are hosted on Microsoft Teams. An invitation will be sent to you by the workshops facilitator(s) no later than 48 hours before the workshop or event. If you have questions or have not received your invitation prior to a course, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
FOCUS GROUP OPPORTUNITY
OHD’s Susan Willsie will be leading a series of virtual focus groups in July to better understand the motivational factors that drive participation in professional education opportunities in the workplace. Susan is looking for up to 24 participants who have recently attended a PD experience to join.
If you are able to participate, please reach out to Susan directly at email@example.com.
2022 OHD Staff Learning Needs Survey: Coming soon!
As Organizational and Human Development continues to grow to serve the needs of employees at the University of Waterloo, we are looking for feedback from staff about their learning needs as we look to the future.
We acknowledge the significant shifts in learning priorities and formats throughout the pandemic and what it has meant for our learning needs. We are keen to understand what our learning and development needs are, as well as how OHD should best deliver these opportunities.
The OHD Staff Learning Needs Survey will provide insights into the areas of growth, skills, competencies, and interests staff are looking to explore and develop. On the flip side, we also need to understand what barriers prevent staff from participating in life-long learning and development.
Questions about the OHD Staff Learning Needs Survey should be directed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
SAVE THE DATE & SUBMIT YOUR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
OHD is gearing up for our Fall conference: Keeping Well @ Work on Thursday, October 13!
If you have an interest in presenting content related to employee wellness, we encourage you to submit an expression of interest here. This call for proposals will be open until mid-August. A big thank you to those that have already submitted their workshop ideas! We will be reaching out to you this month.
