Manager, Operations & Marketing

Mark is the Manager, Operations & Marketing for Organizational & Human Development (OHD). His portfolio includes the management of the administrative operations, including planning and oversight of the office, the operating budget and long range financial plan, as well as marketing, communication, and events for OHD.  Mark is also the project lead on OHD's learning & development events, such as the annual Waterloo Staff Conference. He also works on institutional strategic projects such as Canada's Top 100 Employers.

Mark is passionate about creating informative and engaging experiences with a foundation in learning and development or with a community-based focus. Prior to working at Waterloo, Mark has worked in a variety of fields throughout his career, primarily focusing on the not-for-profit and technology sectors.  Mark brings a high-level of creativity, design, and project management to OHD. Mark is certified in University and College Administration (CUCA Level 1) through the Centre for Higher Education Research and Development (CHERD) at the University of Manitoba. 

Mark likes organic or fair-trade coffee with organic milk and raw sugar.
