How to register

To register for staff workshops

  • Registration takes place through myHRinfo located on the Human Resources website.
  • Visit myhrinfo.uwaterloo.ca and select Login To myHRinfo from the left menu, and log in using your WatIam User ID and password.
  • On the Main Menu, first select Self Service and then Learning and Development. Next, click Request Training Enrollment. (Note: You can return to the main menu by using the drop-down menu bar at the top of the screen.)
  • You can search by course name, or course numbers. If you don't know the name of the course, select ​Search by course number​. Type ​OHD​ in the Course Number area to review all courses offered by Organizational & Human Development (OHD). Training workshops offered by OHD have the courses identified by the prefix "OHD".
  • You will see the workshops offered in a list. To view all the current workshops offered, simply click the Session Availability title to sort by availability. Next, select the training opportunity you wish to explore.
  • Course descriptions can be reviewed by selecting the ​Information Icon​. Information icon
  • Click on View Available Sessions. At this step, you can view the numbers of sessions for a particular workshop (note: only one session may be offered), and the open seats available in a particular session.
  • To view the dates and times of the workshop sessions, simply select your preferred session number in the list to view the details.
  • Click Continue to submit your training request. Next click Submit at the bottom of the page to complete your registration.
  • You will receive email confirmation of your registration within minutes.

Attendance

Please be on time for workshops. 

Late attendees may not be permitted at the discretion of the workshop facilitator. 

Cancellation

To cancel your registration, simply reply to your original registration confirmation informing us that you cannot attend.

If you no longer have this e-mail, please contact Mark Lisetto-Smith with your course information to cancel your registration. You will receive a cancelation confirmation via e-mail.

Cancellation policy

If you cannot make it to a session, please give at least 72 hours notice. A cancellation less than 72 hours in advance or failure to show up for a class for which you are registered will result in a departmental charge of $50.

NOTE: Temporary or casual employees and employees of the Affiliated Colleges and daycares will be charged $50 to attend any of these courses. 


A Note about Scents

Please note that other attendees or your facilitator could be sensitive to scents. As such, please do not wear perfume, cologne, or heavy-scented products while attending conference events.
