Some sessions may ask you to complete pre-work before connecting in a virtually facilitated environment. The purpose of the pre-work is to allow you to gain the knowledge and understanding of the content at your own pace and at a convenient time. We know that your work and life experience is very multifaceted right now. Our learning and development opportunities are a resource for you to gain knowledge, seek different perspectives, and connect with others in the University community. However, we want you to consider if you have time and energy to commit to a workshop or program series. Sessions will continue to be offered year-round, so there will always be another opportunity to engage in the conversation.

The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is centralized within our Office of Indigenous Relations.
