D & H LOT NEW GATING SYSTEM INSTRUCTIONS
VISITORS: PAYING FOR THEIR OWN PARKING
$2.00 an hour to a maximum $15.00
$2.00 per hour Daily max. $10.00 (Outside of Co-op days)
The visitor would enter the lot and press the green button to vend a ticket.
Insert ticket provided on entry to calculate daily total cost. Payment accepted: Visa, MasterCard, American Express
**Visa debit will not be accepted.
Once payment is processed, the gate arm will open.
DEPARTMENT GUESTS: PREPAID PARKING ON BEHALF OF DEPARTMENT

Provide the following information:
Parking lot requested: (D or H)
Pickup or send via internal mail
A $5.00 flat rate will be charged to the department at time of purchase.
The prepaid voucher will expire at the end of the calendar year. Parking vouchers that are not used by the expiry date can be exchanged. A reimbursement will not be issued.
HOW TO USE A PREPAID VOUCHER
Enter: On entry, press the green button to vend a ticket. A ticket will dispense and the gate will vend. The visitor will park in a valid parking spot.
Provide Prepaid Voucher:
Prior to the guest leaving, the department would provide the guest with a prepaid exit voucher and envelope that outlines the instructions.
Exit: On exit, the entry ticket is inserted. A total will be calculated. The machine will request payment (credit card or prepaid voucher). The guest will then enter the prepaid voucher provided by the department. Once verified, the gate will vend.
There are a limited number of visitor spaces. There are 90 visitor spaces for H lot and 27 visitor spaces for D lot. In order to guarantee your space you must make a reservation.
Prearranged Code: Many departments are competing for the visitor spaces. If you are expecting several visitors on a particular day, parking services should be notified 48 hours in advance. A code will be provided to you which the guest will enter. We will adjust the parking lot numbers daily to allow your guest to enter at ease; ensuring a spot will be allocated for them. With a prearranged code, a spot will be saved even if the lot is full.
We would prefer these vouchers be obtained in our office as they have a cash value once processed. Departments receiving prepaid vouchers by mail assume responsibility if they go missing

If visitors require assistance, guests are encouraged to press the intercom button located on entrance and exit. Parking Services will be happy to assist.
